LVCC - Notts v Durham

The batting in CC games this season has been unacceptable. We need a decent opener to hold things instead of being 20/2 every week.

2 down in effect as Claydon is a number 11

haway lads, get through the first 20 overs, ball will lose its shine and not swing so much

come on get behind the lads you bunch of depressing pesimists

Collingwood out:cry: 203 more to get, come on Benks, Blacky and Mustard

keep the faith man. your always negative

these two bat til tea game over.

if stoneman gives it away for less than 100 he should never wear the durham colours again

Possibly, but all the evidence points to that not happening.

We've relied on DiVa and Benks for too long now, they're not getting the consistent runs they used to and we're struggling to score runs as a team as a result.

three cc games ago we had 4 of the top 10 batters in div 1 by runs scored

and MDV wasnt one of them

becoming a kneejerker lad

When they get in they still get big runs, But until this season, if we were in the shit you could almost guarantee that both of them would dig in and get at least 50 without fail. That's not happening now.

6 down, Stoneman gone. :-(

Abject batting in recent weeks.

Meanwhile Chanderpaul is on 59 against Yorkshire :-(
