I said at the time it felt like a defeat and I still feel that way now, but after a nights kip it's given me some perspective and the fact we were able to get so close to winning, in two sessions, on a featherbed, just proves to me that we're not far off. It's been a solid start, lads have scored runs and taken wickets and we're up and running.
Hopefully Sanga arrives in time for the Somerset game. One thing for sure, I expect the Durham pitch to offer a bit more for the bowlers. Although it has been quite dry the last few weeks. Think rain is forecast for Day 1, so might need wickets to tumble to get a positive result.
