LVCC Durham v Warwickshire

Ah I see, I'd of been hating that yesterday like! I heard them mention Colly a few times in joking, so much of been on about what you said yesterday then.
I was actually sitting next to steps in the sun where the players come up the stairs when Stoneman got out, he just said "how many weeks have you been coming?", wasn't best pleased. Aye, was a bad day, very bad, but should be proud of Durham for what they have done, would never see me say out.

Aye, he was diabetic, same as me grandad was, sounds like his blood sugar was too low, usually gets sorted out, so sure he will be OK.
Roller coaster ride with Durham just like Sunderland - pride and disappointment all rolled into one. Don't you just love it. Nice response by Rocky mind.

If the guy's a straightforward blood sugar problem then he will be fine - hopefully we'll see him at the next game ....

I'm fully behind the players. If people want to heckle them (whatever you want to call it), they should be prepared to take it back. As for Stoneman, he's always been an approachable lad as have all of them. Shame what has happened today but it shows to me that the lads care if I am hearing stories of them looking pissed off/smashing a locker etc. People would complain if they were sat on the balcony having a bottle of beer.

1st defeat of the season at home, and our first at home since Yorkshire beat us almost at the start of last season.

People questioning the captaincy of Collingwood clearly have short memories and a few people have mentioned "Mags", if true then they need to be made aware of Northumberland CC and go and watch them

cant understand why people heckle at cricket.

Exactly, in defence of the crowd, it was very very few people, trouble is at cricket games you can hear it a lot more than most sports

Surprised people questioning Colly, he made a bad call at the toss, it happens, move on.

I don't even heckle at the footy, whats the point of criticising your team, even if they deserve it? Will only make them perform worse, and therefore have a negative impact on the fan, it goes full circle, almost heckling yourself in reality.

agreed. i can only get to t20s and i just enjoy the play from both sides. bairstows innings last friday was fantastic. as for having a go at durham lads, over a toss, pretty poor. if the worst happens and we went down, we would come straight back.

I know cricket & football are entirely different sports and not for one moment would I want to see cricket fans turn into the knee-jerkers we see on pure football but honestly, what a small time mentality you have. Fans of club are quite entitled to speak their minds - this isnt a DCCC owned forum and we arent talking about club cricketers here - they are paid PROFESSIONALS who should take the rough with the smooth. They have been largely poor most of this season but aye, last season a vastly different squad & management won the CC - fair one.

He's got form for being a bit of a knacker has Mark, had a canny few disciplinaries in his younger days.

Thankfully he has put it all behind him now that he has been earmarked as fulltime captain... Errr apart from that spat today. Errrr, And telling an umpire to f*** off last week when he was given out.

What a load of wank, DCCC is Sunderland & Wearsides club. F•ck all to do with NUFC or the 1992 brigade that follow them. We have one player in our squad who was born north of the tyne (well, three if you count Mcleod or Main), the rest are all from traditional County Durham heartlands.

If they feel that way they can stop at South Northumberland next week, don't bother heading back south! Bellends!

Wanky response from Stoneman. Whoever it was they have probably paid more money for tickets than any of the players ever have so not sure why any of the or @GordonMuchallNo1Fan play the loyalty card.

As if to suggest unless you are a fully fledged member you arent qualified to speak. Personally I was a DCCC member when Mark Stoneman couldnt even spell Cricket!

I know what you mean, but it is n't like they are millionaires, didn't mind it myself, you get a bit of abuse, you give it back, no big deal IMO.

One thing he did do was chase Benkenstein out the club

Colly looked petrified both times today which is concerning. Borthwick and Hastings got stuck in during the 1st innings. Onion doesn't look fit and it's time to ditch Muchall.

Fair enough people are critical of the coaching/players but how the fuck has the words "David Harker" not been mentioned? He's a disaster that bloke

regretting that username much?

agree with this mind. have spoke with mark before and he seems canny.

had a dream the other night i was netting the lads and mark was trying to convince me to move back to durham. good lad in my book:cool:

I was amazed at some fans at the ground late on day 1 blaming Colly for putting them in. When we were in the members lounge watching it rain the same ones were saying if we win the toss we should bowl when this rain stops.
