"Bouncer from Stokes is hooked away for four"

Can't really dispute it as I'm not there today, both commentators saying the same though.

Bortwick and Collingwood now bowling, perhaps a change of pace may bring about some luck. To only have taken 2 wickets in half a days play is very very disappointing though. Would've liked us to atleast have given ourselves a chance of winning going into the final day - on the evidence so far though we'll still be in their first innings for a while yet.

75 for the 7th wicket..... Pisspoor.

Last 10 overs - 51-0.

Posh-Knacker's highest FC score is 60, I'm going to stick my neck out and say he'll beat that here.

Stirling c Jennings b Borthwick 55. About f***ing time. Needed that like. Desperately.

89 for the 7th wicket. Poor. Hopefully we can rip through them now with the new nut.

281-7. Bit disappointed we didn't give Borthwick a little longer. Wouldn't have minded to see him have a go at the new man. As it is, new ball was taken straight away and we've so far done nowt with it.

302-7. Murtagh being made to look like Amla. Irrelevant now but looking more likely that they'd avoid an innings defeat should the weather allow play tomorrow.

The way we've bowled today I'd expect we wouldn't be able to bowl them out for less than the deficit anyway.

As predicted, Roly-Gregoire has his highest FC score. This is f***ing pisspoor 320-7. They're actually going to avoid the follow-on. I can see it.

All out. 330.

Lead is 238. Need to do some damage tonight as weather tomorrow looks very poor. If its a wash out its a draw, but if its changeable we might get some play and need to give ourselves a fighting chance.

Marty on Twitter - The end of as he is bowled by for 2, ball didn't get up off a length. 324-9, -244

Hopefully it could mean pitch starting to do something!

Edit: All Out!! Come on!!!

Who said the weather was a write off tomorrow?

Far from it according to BBC

Get a few early ones and the pressure will be on them. Still a long way behind so they won't be bothered about scoring, just hanging around.

Where you looking?

If you look at the map it shows no rain till early afternoon and then one heavy shower which clears again.

Just showery according to that

Good from the BBC, conflicting forecasts depending on what you look at

I find the local ones are shit and out of date

The one I posted tends to be updated from the met office regular

If they get a shower it could be heavy like

Rogers lbw Rushworth 1. 7-1. Gerrrinn!!

Rushy for me (going off commentary and reports) bowled well in the first innings for no reward so it's good to see him pick up a wicket now. Contrast Wood who bowled a lot of poor balls but took 4 wickets. Funny old game.

Malan c Jennings b Wood 33. 76-2. Glimour.

Close 90-2. Night watchman survives. Judging by every forecast I've seen thatll probably be the end of the game.

Having got back from the game and reading through the posts on here I've obviously been watching a different game to the match "commentators" on here.

During the day the ball stopped swinging and the pitch got easier to bat on, to take 10 wickets today we had to make the Middlesex batsmen play atacking shots in the hope of inducing bad shots, otherwise they could have just batted out time. Colly kept an atacking field all through their ininngs waiting for the chances, and it worked. They were bowled out on a pitch that offered very little seam or swing after lunch, I'd call that a success.

As for the comment that Finn was bowled by a good length ball that kept low, that's not true, he was bowled by a quick Yorker that beat him for pace.

To get maximum bonus points and enforce the follow on against a very good side currently top of the table is a fantastic effort from the lads, a bit of luck with the weather tomorrow and we may have a chance of a win.
