Can't comment on that as I'm not there today, although the commentary would have us believe that there's been something in it for the bowlers all game.

Middlesex bowled badly yesterday but it sounded like they bowled better today. I'd hope our ladstook note yesterday and certainly the current score suggests we have.

Cheers - I'm on crick info while beavering away ... or not as the case may be. Quite distracted and avoiding my obligations! Hopefully we can a good session in today and reassess tomorrow.

Heavy shower falling in Brandon but looks clearer to the west - where the weather seems to be coming from.
 
Sunny but spitting in Brandon. Hopefully it passes CLS during Tea. 68-4 at the interval and 30 minutes after Tea to play with if there is a rain delay.
 
351 still required to avoid the follow on - however the real battle is between our sun dancing and their rain dancing! Come on blue skies ....
 
Match delayed by rain. Bugger.

Play to resume at 5pm weather permitting and if my maths is correct that should be only 3/4 overs at the most lost.

They'll add half an hour on the end and they will have lost an hour so may be 8 overs lost. No biggie either way.
 
Just got back. Waited around affpterr rain break to see a total of 5 deliveries from Stokes before rain deluge. Notes :
Hastings is a big unit hits a hard ball and bowls like he means it;
Middlesex found it an uncomfortable afternoon, understandably.
 
10 mins from ground, overcast but not raining

pleased to see hastings has done canny straight away
