Starting Tuesday, the return of proper cricket and thank fuck that slogging shite has finished :lol:.

This is judgement day(s) :shock:, we must start to win games or we're down. Simple as that. I'm hoping Colly is the man to rescue us by injecting some life into our season. It isn't going to be easy though. Especially with the changes that will be made. DiVa gone, Harmison gone (although not such a loss?!). Will Blackwell play? Who will open? Smith and Stoneman is my guess and both have to start making runs. Will Muchall still have his place?! Will Scotty play?! Will Brandon stop asking so many f***ing questions?!! :lol:

Oh and does anyone fancy going to Arundel for the Sussex game?!

Bowlers will be Thorp, Rushworth, Borthwick, Stokes and Onions.

No news on the likes of MDV and Myburgh.

Announcement this week which suggests he has indeed retired; otherwise why would DCCC say anything?

Spotted yesterday with the Aussies in full Aussie tracksuit etc. which is interesting. might be reading more into this than I should but I wasnt aware that he had any connections with Cricket Australia.

Well there batting is pretty weak at the moment :shock:.

Mind I still reckon MDV would have played absolutely loads of Test matches for Australia had he been born into a different era. Possibly the best opening batsman never to have played for Australia on a regular basis?!

There's a few people you can add to that list (not openers) such as Law and Hodge. They really have had some fantastic batsmen over the last 20 years.

That would be the starting XI for me but there's no chance Muchall will be dropped. I also don't think Richardson will be doing anything but carrying the drinks. Unfortunately.

Interesting to see no Blackwell, I imagine due to his awful fitness. I also don't fully understand why Myburgh isn't available..... Anyone got any idea?

Oh and according to xcweather it's got to rain at some point every day.
