I feel slightly embarrassed for not knowing the answer to these but, is it 100 overs in a day in the CC, and what is the cut off point for bonus points?

It's 110 overs in the first innings only for bonus points. 400 up before close on first day and 19 overs to spare. Good start.

413 for 6 at the close.

Got to be happy with that.

96 overs in the day maximum - 32 per session - and as renta said 110 overs for bonus points.

But more overs can be added if a team is close to winning - can get up to an extra half an hour?

Get to 450 then slog?
I wouldnt have thought so. We'll bat as long as we can, and try and bat them out of the game this innings. If we can get 500 plus we'll go for it.

Durham are ruthless and you can bet that Cook will have the tactics spot on.

You make us sound good. I hope we are again

Thorp and Plunkett taking the new ball. What's up with GBH?

he's bowling the 4th so guess he had a comfort break...

Or maybe he isn't and cricinfo just decided to lie to me

now it seems, he started the fourth over bowling 2 wides before coming off injured Plunkett took over it

Hampshire need 44 more runs to avoid the follow-on with 4 wickets remaining. Must say I'm not too greedy, I'll settle for a lead of 100. Anything more is a bonus. Ideally get into bat around Lunchtime and hammer home our advantage.

With Harmy unlikely to bowl again, we may struggle to get 10 second innings wickets so I'd imagine we'll need all of the 4th day to get at them.

Any news on Harmy btw? Updates on Durham's Match Chat said he took a blow to the left arnm, which puzzles me why he can't bowl if it isn't broken. Rocky has a broken hand which is a huge blow. Durham injury curse strikes again!

Was at the game today, played very well. Stokes bowled well, as did the two spinners. Mustard did well for his batting and captaincy, but Harmison is a worry
