Enjoyable afternoon yesterday, Borthwick and Smith batted very well and have put us in decent footing for a good first innings score.

It's a great shame that Tremlett is bowling here and not at the Oval, shame on the England selectors and coaches.

Brilliant to see Geoff Cook at the game too!
 
Only 28 overs bowled thus far today. Slow-up tactics from Batty?? I read that he didn't applaud Borthwick's ton yesterday. Seems a pretty unlikeable chap.....

Anyway, reckon its worth having a bash after lunch. See if we can get up to 450 then declare.[DOUBLEPOST=1377264371][/DOUBLEPOST]Tremlett takes 8 wickets. So he'll be all the media write about, even if we bowl them all out and have them following on - that'll be the main story :rolleyes:

Tremlett taking career best figures will always create headlines, particularly when England have just messed up their selection for the final test. Just enjoy Durham winning. Personally I think its funny how the media keep ignoring us and will make it all the sweeter when we win the title;)
