LVCC D1 - Durham v Somerset

been down today, enjoyable day and lovely weather.

got to give credit to some of the batters today. onions/blackwell especially when we were under pressure near the end
 
Another poor game for Durham and if Blackwell (and others) hadnt been dropped then we would have lost. Considering today started 40 minutes late and we lost 2 days for rain this makes grim reading for Durham.

Bottom of the table and seemingly with no solutions to our top order batting shambles.

My bet is that Mustard will resign the captaincy and Collingwood will take over. something has to be done.

144-2 to 186-7 needs to be addressed.

Impressed with Onions, looks in great form.
Claydon's bowling was very poor

As you say, a few dropped catches have proved costly. Stoneman & Blackwell were dropped and a couple others.

Agreed. He looks to be about our best player at the minute. Claydon went for 8 an over.

also it was reported at the ground that borthwick has signed up for Chester le Street, when not playing for Durham.
