And just like that, Scott Borthwick is named in the side, despite not being the squad :-?

worried about that attack.

harmison & harrison unknown how they'll perform, onions & borthwick, then colly, benks and stokes cant bowl still i assume depending very heavily on onions here, especially first innings & later if it doesnt spin

so who do we have better than bang average? :-?

especially to open the batting. I'm all for replacing the average performers, rocky, smith, muchall etc with quality players but who?

we've seen cook is happy to rely on the youngsters when they are the required quality, borthwick, harrison and so on, if he doesnt think our young batters are good enough who are we to argue?

although i did dream about jennings getting into the side recently...
