its astonoshing that its pretty much the same team that went undefeated two seasons ago, just with 2 young england internationals and the best player we've ever produced (altho hes completely fin now) in it

67/3.

Is it not possible to used the Johnson money to sign an overseas batsman for the season?

I've been hoping this for weeks. The longer it goes on without getting someone in for the T20 I am hopeful it means we will get someone in for the LVCC.

4 down, Benks gone. They might as well all just go home now as this is going to be finished before tea.

I simply fail to see how a team can be so abject with the bat in hand.

One or two players off form I can see, it happens in all team sports, that's why you have a squad. But for every single one of them to this far into the season & no signs of improvement you have to ask what on earth are the coaching staff playing at?

The most bizarre thing is, it's the exact same batting line up that got the most batting points in the division last season.

I wonder how many more defeats (assuming we've lost this one) we're going to have before heads roll and something changes. The 2nd XI are scoring runs for fun, and although there's a massive step up in class, we've got to at least give a few of them a chance because they can't be any worse than we're doing now.

To stand any chance they really need to get a lead of 140 plus, can't see it like.

Lead of 53 with 6 wickets left, great escape?

Lead of 200 with 2 wickets left will see us down there tomorrow, lets hope.

Lead of 140 at tea with 5 left, just lose 2 more maximum today and tomorrow will be an interesting couple of sessions.
