Yorks are 2 down now. 193 for 2. Lyth out for 93. Can't see their batting collapsing to be honest.

Rain coming in to the south coast friday night, hopefully affecting those buggers in the evening and morning

Yorks will win their game.

We have a good chance of winning this if the weather remains good for the rest of the match.

Sussex won't beat Yorkshire but the weather might. If any of our Southern based members could pop down to Hove and do a rain dance it would be gratefully appreciated.
As you say we will need the weather to be on our side for us to win but it is still possible if we bat well and skittle them out cheaply in their second innings.

That's far from certain, they are still 80 behind so will only overtake sussex late today or tomorrow morning, they then have to start building some sort of lead. They lost 20 overs to bad light yesterday and its cloudy down there again now also there's rain forecast down there tomorrow. A draw is as likely as a Yorkie win at this stage.

Forecast for Derby certainly better than the south coast, but never guaranteed
