Starting next Sunday. Essex v England (4 days) live on Sky. :shock:

What's it all about? Just a warm up for the Ashes? If so, why don't they play someone half decent so it'll be a challenge?? Can't really see why it's on Sky either. I will watch a bit of it mind, but I'd rather see Sky spending money on County Championship games than on England warm-up games.

The amount of times Essex get on TV mind is ridiculous, slightly different point I know but they seem to be on more than any other side.
 
The could at least play a good county team. Although that would mean all of Sky's Essex based commentators would have to come up north
