I said weeks ago Luke would get his first goal at home against Man U or Chelsea... with Ballard now out I really hope I'm right.
How amazing would it be if he got the goal on the last day of the season which puts us in the conference league man. Lets dream big cos he truly deserved it!

Doubt it, Luke won't be going anywhere.
When they decide its time he'll move to coaching at the AOL.
He's still got another year on his contract.

Aye that's what I mean.
Can't see it happening myself like. I think he's the type of lad who puts happiness above his career and his bank account, and I think he'd be truly happy here next season even if it meant limited playing time.
His involvement behind the scenes, you'd think, would increase in the meantime

Hes only 31. Won't be retiring anytime soon to take a coaching role. Not sure why people keep thinking he will.

Probably because Luke himself has said he doesn't want to play for any other club or leave the region.
His parents moved up here when his kids were born to be closer.

In that case his only option is be a back-up player for the rest of his career , or go and play for Boro.
Personally I think he'll hang around. If we somehow fluked a conference league spot next season he'd start loads of games
