Probably this tbh. I don't want to see him just getting token appearances and, realistically, I don't think he'll be good enough to warrant a place on the team again, especially after January when hopefully we'll strengthen. I absolutely love the man, and I was buzzing when he came on in an important game at a crucial time and we saw it out. But I don't want it to end badly with him seeming out of his depth. He'll want to keep going and bounce back but I think he's had such a great story that, if we don't think he can contribute meaningfully, he's either got to just do a behind the scenes role like it sounds like Moore does, or the souls go to somewhere where he can play regularly and enjoy his footballI don’t ever want to see him in a Sunderland shirt again- not because he is unlucky to catch the man today- it’s not as bad as gvardiol really as it’s on his blindside.
But because he’s just not good enough! Been a brilliant servant but as with Dan Neil on other thread he’s been outgrown by the clubs rise
This lad knars what he’s talking aboutThe fact we are playing this championship standard, old man, just shows we need more depth. Hopefully we get that in January. He's nowhere near good enough and has always had potential to be a total liability at any moment. People are blinded because he's a nice lad.
Old Man? He's 31! That's the same age as Reinildo and only a year older than Traore! The fact we are playing this championship standard, old man, just shows we need more depth. Hopefully we get that in January. He's nowhere near good enough and has always had potential to be a total liability at any moment. People are blinded because he's a nice lad.
RLB has brought him on twice now well away from the spine of the side. Lads been out a long time but in his cameo v Liverpool he was like an over excited kid. I was over the moon for him though. Shame he got the card today as he may well have settled down with more minutes here and there. He isn’t getting anywhere near the heart of our defence. Still a legend whatever happens in the next few weeks/months.Love the bloke but that was absolutely shocking, definitely a red and ridiculous tackle to make. One of the few chances he will get this year and he does that. 3 game suspension at a time in the season he would have his best chance of getting minutes (during AFCON).
That could be his premier League career over before it even starts cos we will strengthen further in January.
Lads a legend but will never be a premier league player in a million years. I'd love to keep him around the dressing room, possibly even as a coach. But on the pitch he has very little to offer us now.
cheer up mate we're not going down, have a drink and look forward to next weekIt makes absolutely no difference him being suspended as he's barely going to play, but the red card has put me into a bit of a downer.![]()
Some need something to blame mate, Le Fee done him up like a kipperGreat reading all the posts ignoring the blatant red city should have had just to justify their 09 hatred
I'm over it now.cheer up mate we're not going down, have a drink and look forward to next week![]()
He looked an absolute embarrassment there mind sorry to say
Needless stupidity
Competition winner stuff
That's making excuses for him. Some need something to blame mate, Le Fee done him up like a kipper
City player rolling around like his leg had been snapped in half didn't help mattersIf it had been a city player would it have been reviewed ? more clumsy than anything else
if you mean rupees then yesrekon we can get 2 million for him? Love him but nowhere a prem player.
Give him 90 minutes at Molineux. Any position you like. He scores a brace, gets MoTM and goes out on a high.Give him 10 minutes later on in the season so he can put this behind him
