Robson was sacked because of the behaviour of younger players, yet the club employed George Ormond who was widely reported even at the time to behave inappropriately with younger players.Just in case the mags ever needed reminding, this is what Robson himself said

He is of course correct, but they then rewrote what happened and thought this had become fact.
They hounded Robson out, he was gutted at the fans' reaction, they are such a bizarre fan base. They thought building him a statue would mask what their fans did. We haven't forgotten, clearly neither has Edwards.
