You cannot sit on a beach in Newcastle or go to a beautiful victorian public park in the centre of Newcastle. It hasn't got a world heritage site Cathedral like Durham.

Never said it had, I only sat down in the sun, had a beer, bit of tapas, watched some boats, went round a market and went home...cannot do that in the City..

Sorry, I thought the subtext of your OP was that Newcastle was great and Sunderland was shit.

Never said that, the OP was a lovely, lovely day in Newcastle, sitting outside a tapas bar, and did the City of Sunderland offer anything similar, and I heard that gatsbys had a few chairs outside, that is all...:lol::lol:
