The club represents the city and it's people. if you don't identify yourself with the city and it's people then what are you supporting?

Bollox, since when?

I do not in any way shape or form identify myself with Sunderland City, why should I?

I pay my money to watch a game of footie, and that happens to be to watch SAFC, as I do when I travel away...(occasionally)

And I bet you a pound to a penny that the vast majority outside of the SR postcode feel the same way.....

So you like to tell everyone on an internet message board that you hate Sunderland but when you are in Sunderland and have the chance to tell a few real people you say nowt ;)

I was singing I love the City of Sunderland Oh yes I do

I have not mentioned on this thread hating Sunderland City, its merely what you are suggesting, I made a thread about in the sun and did Sunderland have an alternative, read into it what you will...

Very rarely go to Sunderland, the folks cannot comprehend if I was to tell them...

Me too Baz, me too...

Since 1879 marra.

What's the point of supporting a club you have no relationship with.

Should have supported Man U or Liverpool instead.

I do have a relationship with the club, I go to watch the footie, buy merchandise, but you are very much deluded if you think the supporters of SAFC support the City of Sunderland, stupid thing to say...

Di je te connais?

What?

What?

They are more in keeping with your european lifestyle.

SAFC is Sunderland. Always has been, always will be. No matter how much ES wants to expand the franchise.

Yes probably are but no thanks...Newcastle ticks the boxes for what I want out of life, apart from their footie club ans so called smelly poo river..

I will take your word for the latter sentence, however I think ES knows exactly what he is doing...knows full well the City of Sunderland is still in the 70`s hence the expansion..

So are people outside of Sunderland not welcome to SOL then?

It does for me as well. i have never said other otherwise. I like Northumberland and Durham as well. I have never said anything other than newcastle has loads to offer.

I was objecting to the snide slagging off of the town and people that your football club represents.

So are people outside of Sunderland not welcome to SOL then?

Of course they are, just keep away if you think the town and people are beneath you.

There have been Sunderland vs South Shields threads going on for weeks man. Its all just banter. It is for me anyway.

Lives in the lovely, metropolitan City of Newcastle... spends a sunny day sat outside a chain restaurant.

Newcastle is a nice city. You, on the other hand, are a retard, Beagles.
