We discussed the topic of love today during afternoon tea .I put the question to the lads would you rather be killed on the spot now or your lass.
It amazed me the answer was pretty one sided and rather unsettling.

It is mate ,a family matter of a relative being poorly prompted me to think about it.I was taken back by what I heard tbh

Well there are different kinds of love, for family and friends etc. And I think the older you get, your viewpoint, reactions, awareness and willingness to be carried along, changes, rather. I cringe when I think of the emotions I've wasted on some very unworthy subjects.
