Lottery / Euromillions

The price of a ticket is the cost of dreaming the big dream.

Don't think I'll ever win but for £2.50 I can dream it might happen and what I would do.
If I didn't buy a ticket then I couldn't even have that dream, so it's worth the money imo.
It only has to drop in once to change your life and everyone around you.

We were talking about it at Wembley last season. Taking your mates with you on your journey would be awesome for everyone involved. A card for everyone to use on nights out, Holidays with your mates and all paid and even paying off mortgages if it’s a big one would change peoples lives for the better. Family members could pack in work and chase a dream if they want too aswell . I don’t mind putting a fiver in every week on the chance of that happening.

Won euromillions again last night. £2.80 🤣 🤣
That's 3 wins 7 days. A grand total of £37.80.
I'll try not to spend it all at once.

Way back when it hadn't long started I won £997 on 6 numbers I remember a lump of it going on a big bag of weed 😎 I had a lass working for me around the same time who had won the jackpot.... The time when loads did 🤷‍♂️ Paid off her mortgage and got a new car and it was all gone

National Lottery operator Allwyn estimated the change in format will double the amount of winning millionaires
operator Allwyn has announced a change to its main Lotto draw, alongside a new UK version of Powerball, a game previously only available in the US.

The Lotto game will see a new two-round format every draw, which will give players two chances to win.

This new structure will see two sets of six main balls and a bonus ball drawn using two separate draw machines.

The change means a player could win in round one, round two, or both rounds, all from a single Lotto line.

And it won’t cost players any more, with the price staying the same at £2 a line, along with the same number of balls.

Allwyn said the change improves players’ chances of winning any prize from one in 9.3 to one in 4.9.

It is expected to more than double the annual number of Lotto millionaires from around 140 to around 345.

whats this powerball gonna cost and chances of winning. are sales down

Total mug's game. Odds of getting struck by lightening 5 times in a row are higher than winning the lottery and most people that play it really can't afford the money they put into it, almost religiously, every week.

Piece of piss this lottery thing.

Absolute shan those prizes now mind, 4 numbers for £50, 5 numbers for 1k,
Last Euromillions draw.
7 numbers and you are earning millions every month in interest.
6 numbers doesn’t even buy an average priced home.
Think they should maximise the main prize at £50m then increase the rest. To be one away, with no one getting all 7 should be life changing. Only 4 ticket holders hit 6. They should have had a few million each.

its same for lotto hotpicks (you got to pick numbers that get drawn) , if you picked & got 2 numbers you won £60 now its £30 , for 3 numbers you got £800 now you get £400

It’s the hope that kills You. I’ve put it
On from day 1. Sat/wed. Lotto, Thunder ball, set for life. £20 per week. Could have had £30k + interest saved up😄😄.
Dropped a shift a week from end off month so decided to pack it in (maybe reduce)
