Look North/Tyne Tees Coverage ***Europa League Special***

Nope marra.
Happily retired.
And does that bother you that I am enjoying my hard earned retirement having a dtink with my mates on a Monday teatime??
Not at all. Enjoy. I'd probably enjoy a pint myself after work or a walk round the park at that time.

However "a dtink(sp)" is a long way from the "screaming piss" description you early gave which infers quite a bit more than a pint.

And unless you're a student or celebrating a birthday/anniversary smashing the granny out of the drink on a Monday teatime may come across as excessive to most.
You presume incorrect.
You're trying to twist things now.
Not at all. Just trying to clarify your statement about the whole situation.

Are you the morality police?
Not a Sunderland supporter.
SAFC through and through before when you were shitting yellow.

Not at all, I'm as very far from the teetotal, one sherry a year with the vicar, maiden aunt image as you can get. Fill your boots.

I just want to clarify your position.

A position whereby you're always critical and dismissive of "shoulder chipster" fellow supporters, like me, who feel, rightly based on the evidence, that SAFC isn't getting a fair crack of the whip from a publically funded, regional media provider, who's own charter talks about fairness, equality and lack of bias in its reporting of the news from around the region. And if there's any extenuating circumstances or particular reasons that may account for your holding this position.

We all certainly don't have to agree. But your position and comments about the subject seem widely askew from those of the majority.

Genuine question.

Do you really think that there's not a serious issue to be addressed by BBC Look North (NE & Cumbria) regarding how their coverage tends to favour one city?

Or well informed people who want to keep up with current affairs and expect a balanced account of those current affairs, including people who are interested in sporting events.
Look north dropped the current affairs ball years ago
Recycled stories about disasters from years ago or hand wringing raising awareness health stories
Along with stories about go to the lakes , don’t go to the lakes or Harrogate!

Is that a difficulty for you?

A great many posters think you're closet mag with your "shoulder chipster" comments.

And your dismissiveness around the handling of the racist incident isn't a good look on top of that.

Maybe I am just a sensitive fanny, but I've worked amongst mags all my lives and had to put up with their constant superiority complex against not just Sunderland but anything else in the region not Newcastle/NUFC, since the two merged into one entity in 1992. I don't want, nor should I have to accept and sit through, this type of one eyed, discriminatory manipulation of the local media to reinforce it.
