Then do something with that anger and complain to our elected police commissioner and Northumbria Police. Doing nothing means nothing changes, I have complained and got a response from Northumbria Police but haven't read the email yet.
I am also complaining to the BBC about the lack of coverage and glossing over the racism and attacks on our fans.

I think shockingly biased is a better description.ITV were professional about the events
BBC shockingly amateur
I think the coverage would have been rather different if at our home match we had thrown bottles and coins at fans in the escort, broke the window of the team bus and then racially abused one of their players, don’t you?I thought was ok, Thewlis seemed fair and Edwards praised us.

Moles are insectivores, more closely related to shrews and hedgehogs.A smoggy wrongun slipping people sleeping pills, dead rodents and a painting by someone nobody has heard of, but racist comments by a Newcastle fan and neanderthal behaviour yet again are completely ignored.![]()
What was Look North coverage of the game like when we played them at the SOL in the FA Cup?“A very short segment”
It’s the derby but they (look north) made it a short segment.
If the roles were reversed, Newcastle won and a Sunderland fan committed racial abuse it would’ve been “a very long segment”
She's serious sports editor iirc so makes all the decisions.I didn’t expect anything other than this.
Kipper knickers must have editorial control
What was Look North coverage of the game like when we played them at the SOL in the FA Cup?
I seem to remember main story afterwards but not sure.
Absolutely this. If people get off their arses and do something it MAY actually see things change. An email takes 5mins.Then do something with that anger and complain to our elected police commissioner and Northumbria Police. Doing nothing means nothing changes, I have complained and got a response from Northumbria Police but haven't read the email yet.

Time constraints...editorial descision...try to give a round up across the region...which is the bigger story...no bias. They’ll put it down to simply bitter Sunderland supporters
This is not the place to post links to mags having civil and level headed discussions about football and racism. YouTube histrionics from social misfits that need their hard drives checking only, please.Even mags are outraged at the racism.... this is one of their forums and they are consistently outraged at it when not being hilariously upset about the match...

The senior sports editor is Dirty Dawnie iirc.Didn't see it but please tell me that wasn't how it was reported...if so, the Reporter and the Programme Editor want hauling over the coals!
Worst part about all of this is, he only felt a twat when they lost. At no other point did he think I look a right f***ing whopper here like.Did they find Whey Aye Man? He was last seen (bottom right in clip below) wandering off after Brobbey's goal

Sort of agree. But it makes the meltdoons even sweeter and the level headed ones are wasting their time trying to be voices of reason among a river of absolutely batshit mental barmpot bastards. This is not the place to post links to mags having civil and level headed discussions about football and racism. YouTube histrionics from social misfits that need their hard drives checking only, please.
Great post. The difference is shocking and for those that missed it, here's the 2 links (they may expire in 24 hours)
ITV, 1st item for just over 4 mins about the racism and violence, then just before 16mins another 3 and a half mins showing fan interviews etc

BBC, just over 2 minutes long starting around 13:40ish

Oh no there are absolute scenes on there about losing to usThis is not the place to post links to mags having civil and level headed discussions about football and racism. YouTube histrionics from social misfits that need their hard drives checking only, please.
Imho it's NOT being amateur. It's an editorial decision to report the story in a certain way. It's not the first time and it clearly goes against the BBC own policy of impartiality.ITV were professional about the events
BBC shockingly amateur
Dawn Thewlis is senior sports editorNo apology this morning
Who is the editor?
