Look North Korea toon night.


Watching the 5.10 edition of BBC news tonight.When Look North came on ,guess what 1st sports coverage was of our forthcoming match with Leeds No mention of Man Utd v Skunks.
Surprised I'm 1st to mention this......................................!!!
 
Could my complaint about preferential reporting have had some effect?
I received the following response

Our staff are based all over the region, not just in Newcastle.



We try hard to reflect this in all our reporting to provide a relevant programme for viewers throughout our patch.



I apologise if sometimes we appear to fall short – this is certainly not intentional.

I can understand a justifiable perception that there's a bias towards Newcastle in coverage in general which is worthy of comment but I haven't seen anything irrational or "radged" which I assume implies o.t.t.
Tis the season of Goodwill to all men.

Maybe im a bit OTT mate, I agree

However to me it seems, in the main, some of us fail to mention/notice when SAFC are mentioned first but take great delight when its not the case.

Its not as bad as it seems imo
 
The 1st team squad of NUFC supporters will have gone home for Xmas. The back up skeleton SAFC support will have taken over. Back to normal in the NY.

And somebody’s dole was stopped cos they had three jobs and now their vapes may have to be downsized, cue Carol looking v sad and tutting, but in better news the weather pictures for January look brilliant.
