Look North Korea toon night.

Just watched Look North.
People moaning on here about other stories being on before the sports round up.
Isn't that always how it's done?
It's a news programme - not just sport.
I also thought their football round up was decent.
That bloke who was on with Dawn Thewliss seemed very fair too.

Seems to be a lot of paranoia on here about non existent bias (imo).
It was just dull lacklustre in this YouTube age
There's students in bedrooms giving it more enthusiasm. Why not a little build up montage about the pre game expectancy, few clips and then do the switch about the actual football being poor but again big up the display and what it meant to win and lose to those fans . Finishing off with Sunderland continue with their great run and Newcastle have a youth week ahead .It's like watching some 2nd rate corporate presentation I'm afraid

Don't pay your licence simples ??
Well I pay my licence because i value the BBC for its tv, radio and online output (as well as its indirect effect on the market, which is incredibly important and (I think) undervalued by those who have been convinced to hate our national broadcaster. . . But I can still criticise and demand better in certain areas.

Ha'way the BEEB.
Worth every penny. 😎
Yet it could still be better.

For example, it would be great if some of their regional output could be moved to the new studios development at Pallion.

Also - although we had a BBC Radio Sunderland for a few months during Covid, why can’t that continue?

It would be fantastic for the city (and the uni) if there were some opportunities into media based here.

It would be cheaper to produce than their current production facilities in Newcastle too.

To be fair marra-looked into your board to see how Browney was doing and your fans saying same about the coverage of you lot being at the end and mentioned in passing
So it’s not just us
Seems like Browney doing well -pleased for him getting a run of games .

We all know if they’d have won it would’ve been way up the order or at the very least hyped before the sports bits. It’s not even up for debate now man.

I've never watched it for years but the whole regional TV has always had a bias . Newcastle folk by breeding aren't the most outward in their outlook so it all runs from that mindset . Little patronising snippets from around the region
" finally hartlepool are celebrating electricity this weekend "
