Look North. Again.

As much as you try to not watch, sometimes it's hard to escape with all the blanket coverage. Normally it's when waiting for the national news and then the local stuff comes up first full of the usual mag shit.

It's like I said - which like every single post I write got a laughter emoji (the last laugh is on me though as anyone who can only respond with stupid emojis can't put forward anything I deem a threat). Blanket coverage I think could potentially harm the way in which we perceive the level of bias within regional news. We patiently wait in expectation of news that is relevant to us but all it does is show news relevant to one demographic. We start feeling there is favour being shown and the rest of us are being ignored. In this case Newcastle United's cup success and subsequent parade. I have been feeling that for some time. I have felt a little disappointed in the level of favour shown to the mags lately.

But hopefully now the parade is over we will hear no more about it on the news.

When I asked Alexa for the news this morning, on the local section, it said a Newcastle fan who had seen been to Wembley to see the mags win, had found some sensitive documents about military personnel. I was in disbelief.

And regarding her request for a "Star of the Week" certificate, here' one for her:

If that's real, that's embarrassing and insulting to their teams of yesteryear, you know, before football was invented in 1992.

Just had Shearer on bbc breakfast talking about the cost of running the Alan Shearer centre. Cue talking about the carabao cup and how their fans 'deserved it' and showing yet more footage of the the ' parade '. Every possible opportunity. Got a feeling this will last for years

It was always going to be like this. If they never won another trophy they're happy to just use this to get one over us.

Unfortunately its a blood stained, asterisk trophy.
