As unprofessional an organisation as you could get. The sport is just the tip of the iceberg of amateurism. The whole lot of them wouldn't last five minutes in any other regional set up I've watched around the UK and that is nearly all over the years.

Inside job innnit. Frame some local mug get more look north coverage.The Sycamore Gap case is a worldwide story so get them leading and doing plenty on that. The sport is very much Newcastle focused though and it’s over the top even with them winning the League Cup. Putting us below Spennymoor going to Wembley (great achievement for them so not putting them or their fans down) is nuts like.

They have a standard letter/email that they send out, and I'm paraphrasing, stating how they "give fair representation within the allocated time to reflect the most important stories of the day" apparently.
Its a complete farce.

Its genuinely the only regional sports news that is as biased, and I include BBC Scotland/STV's love affair with the Old Firm in there.
There total commitment to promote some kind of jawdee exceptionalism, linking the city and club to literally any crumb of positive news while downplaying, ignoring or belittling almost the entire rest of the region, screams inferiority complex and desperation to be noticed.
Its utterly cringe worthy but equal as tedious to have to endure. It's become a parody.
