Living on £1 per day

I reckon it’s just about possible just on food. Wouldn’t be very exciting and it would be very stretched and difficult. Drinking water only. Very cheap foods with good shelf life etc.

Nowt wrong with just drinking water. It's healthy & pretty much all I drink (with meals in the house when I'm not supping beer)

Being a bit skint I've decided to see if I can live on £1 per day for food and drink. I'm going to still eat what I have in the house, what I can grow, or forage.

Hopefully I'll last more than a week before I order a takeaway.
I'm tight mate but you're going to struggle on £1 when you count in everything like oil, butter, milk, spices . Easy done on £2 mind, splash out

It’s doable for a very short time assuming that you have a well stocked cupboard. Not doable at all if you are going from scratch.

Is this a little experiment of your own or is it forced on you due to current circumstances. Feel free to tell me to butt out. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if needed.

Just drink water then you can spend your pund wholly on grub. Think you'll struggle to get 2500 calories for a quid mind. Two bananas is 30p.
