Ok, how much you had to drinkQueen were shite
Like he did mostGeorge Michael stole the show
Queen nailed it. They fully understood what was needed. They were tight and delivered a hell of a show.Live Aid was probably the best snd most iconic concert ever. Hard to believe it’s 39 years ago.
There was some good, poor and indifferent performances but this was canny

Well of course gigs and music is what we do best.Queen nailed it. They fully understood what was needed. They were tight and delivered a hell of a show.
The Who were all over unfortunately.
3/4 of U2 thought they had blown it but their two songs (They failed to play Pride) transformed them into a stadium band.
The British gig was better than the USA effort.

Once in a lifetime things, you don’t want regrets in the end.I was in the RAF based at Bracknell at the time, a few folk off camp went and I declined, life regret![]()
Madonna played and swore during her set which got her into trouble with the evangelical yanks.Does anybody remember much of the American one? That's a cracking line up. Who was the 'queen' moment at that one? I watched it,but cannot remember much about it(11 years old). Funnily enough, I was sure I remember Madonna singing into the groove, but she isn't listed on there. Must've been something else
Aye, it's one of the only things I remember ,her set. Wonder if she was a late addition. Sure I remembered CSNY on there as well, but it must've just been Neil YoungMadonna played and swore during her set which got her into trouble with the evangelical yanks.
I remember The Power Station played, as did Zepplin. And of course Phil Collins who played at both events. I think he flew on Concorde to get there on time.Aye, it's one of the only things I remember ,her set. Wonder if she was a late addition. Sure I remembered CSNY on there as well, but it must've just been Neil Young
Didn't Madonna gate crash the Thompson Twins set?Madonna played and swore during her set which got her into trouble with the evangelical yanks.
