Lincoln

Anar it doesn't really matter now but they are another team that's has absolutely walked the league that we struggled to get out of. What were we playing at man, coming 3rd and 4th and that (not counting the COVID season where it was cut short)
Poor management throughout the club really, from top to bottom. We’d have won the league at a canter if we had a full season of Alex Neil I think.

People go on about Wrexham’s “miraculous” rise through the league when it’s just that they’ve been bank rolled

Lincoln seems more like a miracle to me. Fair play to them

Sky we trotting out that bollocks about Wrexham last night yet again....they've bought their way through the leagues and gained a "fanbase" who bought into the Hollywood shite so no it isn't a fairy tale.

Was great seeing them tonked by Southampton

Lincoln is a nice city and they've done really well. Sincil Bank is pretty unique.

Aye, I was one of the 10,000 allowed to attend! Was a mint atmosphere like considering the ground was empty.
It really was

I think because fans weren’t sitting in their normal seats so the mad-heads were dispersed all round the stadium

Me and the youngin were getting the songs going in the East Stand 😀

I don’t think he was the deciding factor. Just before he was appointed we signed Jack Clarke, Patrick Roberts, and Danny Bath.

All 3 arrived having no recent game time, and so all 3 took a while to get up to speed. I think he was lucky to take over just as they were starting to reach match fitness.

That’s a fair assessment I think. I forgot they only joined in January.

I remember getting tickets for the lincoln game in the playoffs.

never felt the emotion i felt walking up the stairs into the stadium from the premier concourse. just a feeling of relief, that we were getting back to normality.

then the scenes when we went 2-0 up and i ended up just hugging random people, covid wasn't a thing for that 90 minutes. one of the most emotional games despite the result. even though we lost ove 2 legs, i left feeling positive about the future.

I know its only on the surface, but they seem like a really well ran club.
Lost £2.9m from revenue of £8.5m last season…… even with the state of football finances I’m not sure that constitutes well run?
Owners have put £7.5m in during the last 2 seasons.

One of mates (RIP) used to travel down to see Mick Harford play for Lincoln mid-70's before he signed for the gravy-stainers.

Ahhh Lincoln.

Bad memories of the year when we were in the dumps and every division was won by a team starting with the letter L:

Leeds, Lincoln, Liverpool, Luton
