Great story.

By no means the biggest budget in the league and up against some bigger clubs, they've done exceptionally well. It can't have been that long since they were out of the football league all together, some journey for the fans and without having the biggest budget every single season. A proper fairytale unlike that Wrexham bollocks.

I went to uni there and lived a stones throw from sincil bank in the 3rd year. Would have loved to have gone to see us play there. Couldn’t get tickets in the fist year of league one, and then after that couldn’t due to shielding and various other complications.
Hopefully they steadily progress through the championship to the prem and I can get to games by the time they do

Daughter (no) went to uni there also which led to her getting a career in F1

Easy to forget that they beat us in the playoff semis not that long ago (with Morgan Rogers and Brennan Johnson in their team). Probably feels like a long time coming for their fans.

Anar it doesn't really matter now but they are another team that's has absolutely walked the league that we struggled to get out of. What were we playing at man, coming 3rd and 4th and that (not counting the COVID season where it was cut short)
