Not that I want/wanted Rosenior, but he's in a position in which if his next job goes tits up that he'll really struggle to get anything of note.

Given how much of a basket case we seem to be, he's probably thought he'd be better off waiting for something else than risking his reputation on SAFC, which is probably a wise decision the way things have gone recently.

Any job at a parachute club is going to be far more attractive than the SAFC job.
I suppose it depends on how Rosenior conducted himself when the Burnley gig came up as to whether he could still come here.
