We have a chalice ?We’ve become a poisoned chalice
He didn't
KLD and his hopeful imminent statement shite.
We have a chalice ?
Well , Fuck me.
Fair play, you've obliterated the competitionThanks Rocksys. That means a lot.
Whilst you make some good points it absolutely does matter who comes in.It doesn't really matter who comes in, if the club have pissed about in a similar manner terms of recruitment as they have over the head coach progress, then next season doesnt bode well at all.
What's the odds that come dealine day, we're still waiting for a striker and a defensive midfielder and whoever is in the head coaches seat has talked about having some older heads in the squad at least 6 times to the press.

The right coach will have a minimum set of requirements, if they aren't met they will walk away. Anyone that will be successful has to have access to the resources they consider essential to be effective in their role.It doesn't if they aren't given the tools. They'll get shown the door while those who are making the bad decisions at the club will carry on.
Replacing those fist pump emojis with Pom Poms would suit you better Rockstar.Fair play, you've obliterated the competition![]()
Spot on.We have made a right royal mess of this whole process and clearly none of our preferred candidates are interested in working under our existing structure and the current restraints that appear to be in place.
It is now becoming abundantly clear given the inordinate amount of time that this appointment is taking, that no head coach or manager with any sort of credibility within the game will go anywhere near this job at present.
I expect that Kristjaan Speakman's influence within the club is a major factor as is the lack of finance and staffing issues which have previously been cited by many in mitigation.
The clubs hierarchy were obviously desperate for their man Mike Dodds to win a few games before the end of last season so they could legitimately put him in charge but he was so hopelessly out of his depth in the role that he could not even manage that.
Given that a resolution to this sorry situation doesn't appear to be imminent, it would be no surprise to see Dodds and Co taking pre-season training while we continue to watch and wait whilst everyone else identifies and appoints managers without issues at every turn.
I fear that we could be in for a long season.

I wouldn't mind him coming in, but it's definitely clear that he wasn't their first choice.Just hope they don’t try and suggest this fella was their first choice
Could probably go back to 2022 when they didn’t plan properly for the Jan 23 window imo.Spot on. However they try and spin this they’ve made a right pigs ear of things since the day they sacked Mowbray.
With every post you go further clear of the oppositionReplacing those fist pump emojis with Pom Poms would suit you better Rockstar.
