Liam Rosenior

I don’t know if LR is less ambitious that Maric/Still/Jansen. He’s at least managed in this league, one of those hasn’t even managed adult footy. Less of a known quantity, but that doesn’t necessarily mean more ambitious.

Listening to the 2nd tier podcast turned me around on him.

If he didn’t come here, and we got someone like Cifuentes I don’t think that’s less ambitious either.

It does need to be wrapped up like.

Fair do's, take away lr himself and his appointment still points to a terrible plan, any which way, I'm going to be pissed off.

He’s done well everywhere he’s been, and is highly credited for Rooney’s successful spell at Derby. I personally think he did a good job at Hull, I don’t buy the whole ‘he should have been promoted with that squad’ really? They weren’t anywhere near as good as people like to make out!

And Mowbray had a much longer career than LR when he joined, he NEVER played the style of football he did with us, anywhere. Managers adapt, I don’t get this whole argument whatsoever.
Remember out playoff final in 1998. That team should have been promoted instead of the playoffs, due to some unexpected results in the last few matches of the season. We stuck with Peter Reid, and he became one of our most successful managers of recent times.

So it’s Koepka, Morikawa for the us open and Rosenior for safc

With Mary Ann cotton and hangmen with a son of working in a prison disguised as a brick factory in throckly

Just if anyone is late to the thread

West Brom fans always go on about how good his football was there

I’d be happy with Liam Rosenior, but the way this whole situation has been handled added to pretty much everything the club has done in the last year suggests we’re in for a long, difficult season. The club is a shambles off the pitch (and if we lose some of these talented young players, it might be one off it all season).

No one can know in advance who is a good choice. We only find that out after the event. You know, that time when everyone is a wise man. Even me.

Whoever is appointed, let us pray he carries luck.
Agreed but I thought the same about Beale and waited and prayed to be proven wrong. I feel like this will be the same.
