Liam Rosenior

Failure not getting that side into the playoffs imo. They should've finished 6th.
That being said, it's almost as if throwing everything plus the kitchen sink at promotion in a division with Leicester, Leeds, Southampton and Ipswich was a pretty stupid idea..

a head coach should share the blame for the failures yes...but you have to examine which bits of the football department failed...was it the bits the head coach is in charge of or the other bits?

In Rosenior's case I feel Hull invested decent money and provided him with a strong squad. They rightfully would have been expecting to get into the playoffs with the investment, so I can completely understand the sacking.

Seri, Philogene, Carvalho (for 6 months), Omur, Greaves, Tufan, Morton, Zaroury, Giles all good to excellent players at this level and all decent fees and/or wages.

The wage bill will be one of the highest in the league when you remove the parachute payment clubs who are operating in a different stratosphere.

They only won 3 of their last 13 games despite the above.

It's one of those sackings that probably looks harsh, but when you dig down into it a bit more is completely understandable IMO.
