Pretty clear at this point that Speakman under this regime is seen as being bigger than the club and as a result, his mate Dodds is bulletproof. As a result of that, the manager/head coach job here is now a deeply unattractive prospect to anyone that actually has something about them.

And the fact that the pair of them are still here says everything we need to know about Dreyfus's suitability to own this club. He's clearly the biggest problem here.

Do you want them to just not say anything to you when your giving them grief constantly in your postings?

Can I ask an honest question, do you say any of this in person. You’re known on here for going on about how great a fan you are and how you attend home and away, yet slate our fans at the drop of a hat. Do you do this in the stands? And if anyone gave you it back in person, is that bullying too?

In all fairness lest we forget you spent a year claiming I was a Man Utd and got me mixed up for someone completely different.

I genuinely don't believe it's the actual 'model' that would put a coach off. It's having to work with Dodds and Proctor that f***ing stinks to high heaven. Decent bloke or not Dodds can fuck right off as far as I'm concerned. He's clearly holding the club back. The bloke is shameless and looks like a tramp on the touchline to boot anarl

Dodds and proctor aren’t the issue mind. They know they will revert back to coaching roles, and I believe the club are happy for the new manager to bring in their own staff.

The issue is the model, speakman and budgets

Not necessarily. He’s got an interview with Burnely and after Still the club have probably said it’s now or never to accept the Sunderland job and he would rather wait and talk to Burnley so has pulled out.
Stop making excuses man. He should be walking over hot coals to come somewhere like Sunderland.

Not necessarily. He’s got an interview with Burnely and after Still the club have probably said it’s now or never to accept the Sunderland job and he would rather wait and talk to Burnley so has pulled out.
But it was only a second interview wasn’t it? He’s effectively decided to remain unemployed after talking to us the first time. I’d personally be surprised if he got the Burnley job as I think they’ll want a “name”

Yes.

No remotely competent club is going to put out a statement saying “we hope to appoint a manager imminently”, unless they genuinely thought an appointment was imminent.

Even this lot aren’t that stupid.

So as of Friday night, they thought an appointment was imminent.

Day five, and counting.
Have a look at the bit in speech marks

That will tell you you're wrong. Good day
