Liam Rosenior compendium thread

BBC like him… he is tipped to be the 1st English manager to win the prem league.

Which English manager can end the drought?

Rosenior looks best placed given the resources, talent and willingness to invest at - but others have hopes for Eddie Howe and Frank Lampard.

He will be gone in the summer.. these Elite Clubs never learn anything.

We seem to be in an era where young managers are so concerned with how they are perceived and desperate to be seen as clever it’s painful to listen to a lot of them speak.

Thank fuck we have Regis.

Defeat at home. Nothing new there

11 goals in two games though. Don't think we saw that many in two years at Hull

I remember in summer 2024 telling anyone who would listen on this forum that he was someone who was provided with a very good squad with one of the higher wage bills in the league that season, won 3 of his last 13 to bottle a playoff spot, and has a tactical setup and playstyle that is totally at odds with the squad he would have been walking into it, when he was being strongly linked with the SAFC job.

Seri, Philogene, Carvalho (for 6 months), Omur, Greaves, Tufan, Morton, Zaroury, Giles were all good to excellent players at that level at that time and all commanded decent fees and/or wages.

People seem to think he did an excellent job at Hull but to me it couldn't be further from the truth.
