It will be positive. They have no issue with him, they have an issue with the board for choosing him. They all wanted Maresca out almost to a man, but they didn't see this appointment coming and to say they are angry is an understatement.

He won’t get a full contract paid up. One year is industry standard nowadays and I’d be surprised if he has the pull to push for much more.
