Does it? Does an injury now mean someone is injury prone?

I agree with the OP. I would have taken the gamble but Plunkett is injury prone and I couldn't really see him lasting the series over there and having to bowl three spells in a day. It only took him a few overs in the ODI's and he was injured.
Maybe so. But this doesn’t prove it

He has a terrible record with getting injured, the ECB got pelters for not picking him for that reason, then lo and behold he gets injured .
Doesn't really get more cut and dry.

Aye - I was the same. Our options were so poor I thought it was probably worth taking the chance while recognizing he might pull up at any time. Theoretically can they take as many as they want on tour?
