I was at Boro & missed the Derby match because I was down London. The match was supposed to be a Monday & it got changed back for some reason. Proposed to owa lass about an hour after Miller scored that goal.

Heartbreaking to think a young man died of cancer like that in his 30s.

Worse still to realize that he wasn't the only player in that Roy Keane side who died young of cancer too (Fulop).

I liked Liam Miller. A good player who gave it his all during a positive time for SAFC and scored some legendary goals, that last gasp winner against Derby being unforgettable as a memory.

I really liked Liam Miller. Loved that season under Keane when we got promoted with him in the side. Sadly taken far too soon.
