Let's all laugh at Newcastle

Save it for Blackpool LOL

If Mike Ashley needs any further reminders, in amongst the spread losses on HBOS and the multi million income deficit of relegation, then surely he could have a peek at our wage bill. According to The People, it seems like the poison dwarf, Dennis Wise, is still raking in £30k a week. Its nice to know that the failure of a director of football, prized for landing us with the likes of Coloccini, is getting a salary that puts most FTSE 100 Chief Executives in the shade.

Ricky Sbragia and Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn laughed off Newcastle’s last-gasp bid for midfielder Kieran Richardson.

Newcastle owner Mike Ashley made a cheeky £6million offer just 24 hours after the 1-1 draw between the teams at St James’ Park.

But Sunderland boss Sbragia, who included England player Richardson in his squad travelling to Blackburn for tonight’s FA Cup fourth round replay, said no one at the Stadium of Light took the bid seriously.

‘I don’t think it would have been ideal to sell him to Newcastle,’ he said. ‘There was an inquiry but we rejected that right away.’

Sunderland’s Scotland keeper Craig Gordon will make his second comeback tonight from the ankle injury which has forced him to miss most of the season, but new signings Tal Ben Haim and Calum Davenport were not signed in time to play.

I forgot how funny that was!

Pj & Duncan - lived together, work together, socialise together and never apart. ;)

Heartbroken by the mismanagement of NUFC at the hands of Mike Ashley, Barry Venison takes matters into his own hands.
