This daft pissed up skunk from South Shields was shouting his mouth off last night in the Museum Vaults.

He said they would win the Championship by April and we would go down. Soon shut the fuck up when a couple of his mates suggested a £20 bet on it !

Sale could take
four more weeks

News reaches us from a reliable source that Mike Ashley's parting shot could be to hold out until the start of the new season, in an attempt to squeeze a few more million out of the sale of Newcastle United.

With our first pre-season game less than a week away the club is still in total limbo, with no manager and a squad full of players, many of whom are likely to be leaving the club.

As our rivals do deals left, right and centre the club are missing out on new players with each day that passes, scuppering our chances of a Championship challenge.

History suggests that bouncing back at the first attempt is our best chance of returning to the Premier League and anything that hampers that could see us in the same boat as Leeds, Forest, Sheff Wed, Southampton, Norwich etc. etc.

Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse....

:lol::lol::lol: Love it!

Death by a thousand cuts! I've no doubt the sale will go through shortly but what a bloody performance. This time last week they were "expecting offers in the next few days" ,and by Thursday they were showing this Malaysian guys team round. We can only hope for more of the same.:-)

Wife to Mag husband.....What!!You have just bought that away top you have on? it's the same colour as our f***ing wall!!

On Talk Shite skunks hoping to off load Nolan and Barton on loan. The daft geordies would still have to 'sponsor ' any deal which would involve them paying half the players salaries while out on loan !!

I have doubts as Ashley doesn't give a shit about anything other than getting as much as he can for the club. He also seems to be totally shit at judging when to jump if he's made a low offer, if he'd jumped last year he'd have been laughing now. I honestly think they'll start the season without a manager in place and MAY get sold just before dead-line day leading to a Keane type blitz in the last few days of the window from the bargin bucket bin.

:lol::lol:

It looks to be another day without any news on the apparent "quick" sale of the club, meaning the chances of them getting straight back up will diminish just a little bit more as it will with each passing eventless day for them. Our sale took from April to July to complete at a price of £10 million with around £40 million debt; whilst this delay was down to DD, Newcastle could face the same issue if a consortium considers buying them. Meaning this might not even be sorted by the time the season starts :lol:

Also rumor has it that the "Malaysian Interest" was simply a PR stunt to attempt to step up more action from interested parties and make them be prepared to pay more for the club. :lol::lol:
