Tbf, they have a lot of new players (8 so far with 3 to come) to integrate in to the club and that usually takes a bit of time.
They also have quite a lot of disaffected players who know Rafa doesn't want them which is great as it causes a bad atmosphere. Riviere, Gouffran, De jong, Saivet, tiote, ameoba, plus Sissoko wants to be away.
Add to that, very little pace in midfield/attack meaning breaking down teams not easy . Townsend is a huge miss.
They already put all their emphasis on Ritchie(Wtf is he doing there) and if hegets injured, they're in trouble.
Still fully expect them to win title, but might not be easy as thought.

Their squad is f***ing huge.
Might make them have a stronger season as it is a long slog with the extra 8 games but it could also manifest itself into a big problem if not managed correctly.

Hopefully it goes tits up

Their transfer business has been awful, they have bought some very average players even for that league - the likes of Hanley, Hayden, Gayle, the keeper are not good enough to win that league IMO

They should go up with what they have available. It's a hard league but last time we went up I think we were still in the bottom six in November. It is more than doable even if they do the unlikely and struggle for a while yet, although the toxic atmosphere that seems to be always simmering under the surface there won't make it easy.

That squad is seriously bloated mind and they will need to take a hit on almost all of them to get shot.

Anyway, if it goes tits up it'll be all Mike's fault for spending all that money.

Ee divent understand. This is part of Rafa's masterplan man - the chronicle said so it must be true. Hail the rafagation

Tesco, Chester Le Street yesterday, I burst out laughing and sent the bairn after him with the phone
Guess we will never understand mate.

I once saw a bloke on holiday (mag) with SPLIFF and the number one underneath.

Was always by himself strangely.
i saw one at the weekend and the white in the shirt was nearly black.

Whenever I see a sunderland shirt they are always clean. Obviously much higher cleanliness standards - keep it up lads n lasses. :)

Who else can they blame? Ashley is still investing, Carr has gone. It's Rafa cocking it up for them.
Ee divent understand - this is not Rafas fault. Ok he won the rafagation, spent £50m of Ashleys money in the summer and has lost two games but its NOT his fault man. Yi just divent understand!!!!
