Just been reading there apparantly both are loan deals but set fees are already agreed and both will become permanent if we are promoted. Bayern aren't daft, apparantly the keeper doesn't have a future there but they've give him a new 2 year contract any so we have to pay a fee to make it permanent next summer

How many duds have we had from Man Utd 😂
Mark lynch and Donald love weren't really of the desired standard. That winger we had on loan in 1996, (Cooke was it?) Was pretty shit ad well. Other than that all of the signings from Man U that I can remember have done a good job.

Edit: forgot about Januzaj, he wasn't very good either.

Inverted wingers are now the norm, very rare you get a proper winger who can go past his man on both sides.

This could be the thing with younger players. We couldn’t understand why Jack Diamond was given a 5 year contract. But if the club believe in him, rather than being a problem to move on, it gives time for him to either properly break into our team or to get a fee after successful loans elsewhere. A bit like how we extended Embleton‘s contract when we loaned him to Blackpool.

cooke wasn’t too bad as I remember.. I think Wellbeck has to go down as a success though 😉
