What Leicester did by winning the league was absolutely brilliant for football.
Was great at the time, but I feel that the impact of it happening was that the bigger clubs started throwing even more money at it to make sure something like that doesn't happen again... Since then transfer fees have gone ridiculous and I wonder how we would ever compete should we get promoted when fees have become so inflated.

Not Rodgers fault for their slow decline and up coming demise
Agree to a point. Rodgers massively high opinion of himself and the subsequent whoring himself out to Man U hasn’t helped matters. They’ve a couple of seasons left at this level on their current path as there are teams in more of a mess off the pitch than them. I genuinely hope they sort it. Winning the prem gave every neutral fan hope.

What Leicester did by winning the league was absolutely brilliant for football. However they do have the look of Sunderland when we began our decline and subsequent fall.
They are starting from a higher point than us as they have some sellable assets. Our best players we all on loan.

The Leicester fans know, you stand still in the premier league, you actually go backwards. If they don't address their deficiencies in the remainder of the window I think they'll be down - which would see them return to their more natural standing. But what a magnificent blip for their fans to have expexperienced!

Blackburn springs to mind

Exactly. If that had been us I'd have died a happy man. I wouldn't care less where we ended up.

Was it luck?
Of course it was luck. Even the best teams need luck to win the title. For Leicester it was the perfect storm of a couple of the big teams being in the middle of a squad transition and Ranieri stumbling on a system that worked really well for them and their scouting system picked up a couple of gems in Kante and Mahrez. They also managed to ride the wave of enthusiasm from the majority of football fans that wanted to see someone stick it to the big guys.
