Pease would you advise on the following:

I like the old black and white pictures of street scenes, often showing people going about their daily activities. lf I take a picture of someone in the street, possibly without their permission, is this legal.Who has the rights to the photograph, and are there restrictions on how they can be used? Does the same apply to buildings or landscapes?

Thanks
What if someone objects to having their photograph taken?
Hypothetically, suppose the photo was then used commercially?
I'd say if someone objected I'd delete it out of goodwill or whatever but legally you don't have to.

You might run into issues here, if the person spots their face, recognisable, on a billboard or in a magazine without them having signed a model release. Infringement of privacy maybe, I'd look into that further just incase...

From what I gather you don't need model release in the UK, although some places will request it. US is definitely model release required.
