So old and well used that Leeds themselves adopted it 
Came off the back of other clubs singing it. Iirc Man Utd started it. Same way Welsh clubs started singing about being sheep shaggers for example.

We sang about Carlisle being sheep shaggers in the 70’s. They never sang it about themselves. Rangers referred to Aberdeen as sheep shaggers back then too.So old and well used that Leeds themselves adopted it

When I was at uni many moons ago with people from Wakefield the rare few who weren’t Leeds fans chanted it regularly … long story short it’s a very old chant

What I find incredible is this. They have 23 home games. They have been undefeated all this time at home, and now with just two home games to go and in home game 21 of 23 they go and lose. They had just two more home games to go undefeated at Elland Road throughout the whole season and they couldn't manage it. It is laughable!
