I just think it’s reflective of people from Leeds. Quite a large proportion of them seem to have an inflated idea of themselves and the city. Not a clue why.Don't usually get involved in the tit for tat, stereotyping a fanbase thing but I think Leeds have a generation of fans who grew up being fed stories of how big they once were while they spent 16 years as a bang average Championship / League One side, they crave that validation from others and can't see people talking positively about others ('Leeds would have taken more' etc). When we were both in the Championship they seemed to get very offended if people said we were a bigger club. Now it seems to kill them that we've had a better season and people are taking about us over them.
Remember those spenks who came on here before we played them at home with the patronising 'we were just wondering how you've managed to do so well, we've come to the conclusion it's probably Farke holding us back and we'll still finish above you but well done anyway' shit. We were 8 points ahead of them at the time and finished 7 points ahead
100% this upI just think it’s reflective of people from Leeds. Quite a large proportion of them seem to have an inflated idea of themselves and the city. Not a clue why.
They've done amazingly considering how poor their recruitment was. The DCL gamble was huge, take him out of that side and they'd probably have been in the relegation scrap.
Shame they missed out on Sadiki - big dogs eat first
It’s worked out delightfully for this board going into the summer tbh. The humourless, strangely arrogant Leeds fans didn’t half make the place untidy with their constant drivel about club size, supporters groups etc.Don't usually get involved in the tit for tat, stereotyping a fanbase thing but I think Leeds have a generation of fans who grew up being fed stories of how big they once were while they spent 16 years as a bang average Championship / League One side, they crave that validation from others and can't see people talking positively about others ('Leeds would have taken more' etc). @Grumpy Old ManActually I think of Leeds as northern Bristol
A very big city/conurbation which massively underachieves at football probably because it is distracted by other sports like cricket and rugby too much?

That's a massive f***ing insult to the fine city of Bristol. It's nothing like that Yorkshire cesspit
