Leeds away £47

I've only been to Elland Road once, free tickets for Leeds v Boro, of all teams, in 1999. It was a dump back then. Doesn't look like they've done much in terms of upgrades in the period since, so can only imagine how bad it must be now. £47 a ticket is disgusting.

Leeds have offered every club te same deal , they will charge their fans what we charge them . Up to individual clubs to agree to that so I won’t hold my breath

£41 on the Kop at Hillsborough for the Ipswich game, be more for Leeds, and no doubt the same for you lads..its not dependant on the quality of football, its dependant on the followings these clubs bring.
If we were playing Bournemouth, it would be under £30, they bring nowt.
Wednesday have virtually no walk up at all now, don't blame anybody, simply fleecing football fans,
In the long term, it simply dilutes the fanbase of the club, you can't afford to take your kids, you don't go yourself, cos the kids can't and you find summat else to do.
As fans, all we will do is sing songs at each other about it, while none of us can do jack about it.
We have Sheffield United playing such as Liverpool for far less than us playing Ipswich, how do you compete with that?
answer is you can't, apart from the dyed in the wool idiot, such as myself.
United will grow their fanbase because of it though...
"Wanna watch a match in Sheffield...£30 for Liverpool at The Lane...or you can pay the £41 to see Wednesday V Cardiff"
"ohh let me have a think...."
Bloody ludicrous...
Of course the rapidly accelerating alternative to all this is the Riyadh oil trophy - coming sooner than people choose to accept.

If I was single I'd not think twice about paying that for Leeds away. As I am married with a family I couldn't justify it.

Sheff Wed ‘only’ charging Southampton £36. 2,400 allocation, uplifted later by the authorities.

Seems this is Cat D, away fans charged an extra fiver than those on the Kop cos that aren’t Sheff Wed members (what a load of bollocks). No doubt we’ll be Cat A or B.
They really need to redevelop that stand capacity reduces every year used to get about 5k in there

I can't recall us ever taking these clubs up on a reciprocal offer? May be wrong.

They shouldn't be that high in the first place of course. I'm not surprised Sheffield Wednesday haven't gone for it as they have had ridiculous prices for years and look to fleece their own fans with matchday prices let alone away ones. No idea why they don't charge less and fill the ground but there we are, the owner seems clueless and isn't arsed anyway.

Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday have underdeveloped grounds with restricted capacities. The all time high interest in football has rendered their grounds not big enough so naturally they will hike prices as they know demand will outstrip supply.
Leeds reduced their prices for a first round League Cup tie with Shrewsbury. Anyone care to check how many tickets they sold ?
