Leeds away £47

Tbf Sheff Wed, Boro, Huddersfield and Hull would also take big allocations to Leeds.

If fans groups could join together then we could shame the twats and it would get national attention.

I’m all for us taking taking the lead though.

I know it sounds easy from the outside looking in but if I imagine it's not a two minute job to contact all the fans groups of all 23 clubs in the championship. I guess the first step is to create a generic statement/letter that can be copy and pasted , and then go hunting around for the contact details.

As soon as you had two or three of the bigger clubs groups on board, simply "urging our away fans not to buy tickets for sheff wed and Leeds away' ... 'in conjunction with fans groups from X club , X club and X club" ..

... It then gets shared all over the place and the wider debate starts. It would 100% pick up traction on twitter and Facebook football fans pages which are massive, and I think it would get 90% support from non match going fans (it's easy to support something from behind your screen without having to actually do anything) ... And then it would be over to the actual fans of the clubs.

It would be the first movement of its type in this country and I think it would be very well received by the wider football community

As part of my involvement with RAWA I asked to be added to the FSA's championship email group where all of the supporter's trusts communicate about a range of topics. There's been a lot of discussion already around the Leeds pricing, with all agreeing that it's a disgraceful price. Sounds like there's an appetite to push this further so I'll speak to the others at RAWA and hopefully we can add our voice to the groups of the other clubs. Tbf this is exactly the kind of thing that supporters trusts should be involved in and actively campaigning against

Brilliant
We might if we're organised. At least take the minimum allocation. Then sell out every other game.
If no-one goes then no one gets that precious point for an away game, so its a level playing field, the club need to take no tickets, if thats what people want

Thing is if it's by the club, then it's forced and opens up a range of disputes about how the club can get to decide what is right and wrong. They'll get an absolute hammering by people who want to go. And next time there's a high price, they'll be in a sticky position. This is simply HAS to be fan lead. It has to be.

Tell the club that we're campaigning for an empty away end, they'll take the smallest allocation. If it doesn't sell, then it will make big news. We are at the top table of English football for away fans numbers , it will be big news if sunderland sell Zero tickets for Leeds away. Massive .

Given the post two above the pressure is now on SAFC? They refused a reciprocal arrangement with Reading last year from memory but they really need to sort this one.

Class mate . I hope it can come off.
I'm worried that if it doesn't happen for sheff wed, then the impact is lost. If we are willing to pay £45+ for sheff wed then people will rightly say 'why didn't you pretest then' .

I'm glad the communication channels are open already.

A statement from RAWA in conjunction with all the other Sunderland fans groups well in advance of the sheff wed tickets coming out would be class.

If people have already booked trains and hotels etc... You can just see them now 'im not boycotting, I'm looking forward to the trip, doesn't effect me' etc...

Sounds like a game changer. Good stuff
