So he’s just left var? Sounds like he’s not a ref at all no more ?

I did say “a bit of reasoning”!Football fans and reasoning? Haway man![]()
He should never have been a premier league referee nevermind kept on with VAR. He was not a good ref.genuinely interested. Horrific mistake but is this a bit far?
'I'm a fan, of course I'm not going to be objective' is about the best you can hope from those people.

They aren't all useless, but Lee Mason is.The officials aren't useless though, that's the point.

So they should, they are literally getting a second crack at them allDecision correct percentage wise have improved
People will say it's only improved it a certain percentage and it is. However there is a huge difference in the margin of error as it's not longer feet or even yards given incorrectly as on/offside and fans being well pissed off at officials for missing them. The linesman doesn't flag offside even after a goal if he can't be 100% sure. That's why there's fewer goals given onside when a lino has flagged but there seems to be more that are given offside yet the lino didn't flag. Are there any statistics on errors in the VAR era compared to before?

I've just explained about the offside system in 2 huge posts and the first post tries to explain they already allow some margin to the attacker. For all the moaning, it's not exactly a toe nail offside in reality as there still allowing some margin but not enough. The 2nd post explains more about the semi-automated offsides and how they could at least eliminate incorrect offside completely and it would make it better in my opinion. It's not going away just because fans don't like it as there's too much money in the game now and the majority of fans would accept it's here to stay. Serie A just started using Semi-Automated offside a few weeks ago and will only grow and develop in time.
“Crisis” VAR meetings
We should go back to non-VAR for one season.. then at the en every season ticket holder at premier league clubs gets to vote whether to keep it. I'd put my mortgage on it being 80/20 in favour in favour of scrapping it Is that like 160/40 ?www.readytogo.net
